As the COVID-19 pandemic is spreading, we empathize with the same challenges and difficulties you are currently facing. On behalf of all the employees of Higher Education Press and in my own name, I would like to sincerely express our sympathy and firm support to your company.
In the Spring Festival of 2020, we responded promptly to the epidemic prevention and control, attaching primary importance to the lives and health of our employees. Among more than 2,200 staff in our company, including the retirees, none has been infected. At the same time, we made proper arrangements for the production and operation in light of actual conditions. We optimized our high-quality resources to better serve education, offering nearly 200,000 first-rate online courses for free to assist learning and teaching outside the campus. Normal order of production would be gradually resumed.
Since the start of the outbreak, our global partners have given us sympathy and support. We are deeply grateful for this. Virus respects no borders. Humanity is a community with a shared future. Only by cooperating and responding together in a spirit of unity and solidarity can all countries and all walks of life overcome the difficulties, defeat the virus, and safeguard people’s health and wellbeing. The cooperation between our two companies has always been close, smooth, pleasant and fruitful, which we believe will not be affected by the epidemic. Emerging from this test, our exchanges will become more active, our cooperation will be fully strengthened, and our friendship will be further deepened.
The Chinese believe that “Brothers and sisters of the same breath hope for spring together.” Higher Education Press would like to look out for each other with you in the fight against COVID-19 to get through the difficulties as soon as possible. We look forward to further cooperation with you for a shared promising future once the epidemic is over. We sincerely wish all of your employees and their families safe and healthy.

The epidemic (COVID-19) has entered all countries of the world. And it affected the life of all humanity causing Business and economic destruction.
I believe that after the epidemic is not the same as before.
But deep and sincere friendships remain and will never change.
The Digital Future LTD. asserts that it is always ready to work with its friends around the world to fight the epidemic and reduce its impact on life.
----Mohamad Elkhatib, CEO, Group of Digital Future LTD （黎巴嫩数字未来公司总裁穆罕默德•艾尔哈提卜）
Events such as this pandemic create both opportunities and threats. I believe that well-managed organisations may come out strengthened, having managed to care for their customers and employees through digital initiatives, and by looking at the middle and long term. This pandemic hugely affects health services and education, perhaps the two industries most likely to subsist for the foreseeable future, as robots and artificial intelligence change our lives.
I share your vision of a promising future once the pandemic is over, and wish you, your family, and your employees good health, safety, and success.
